“You need a hobby” my husband said… well I don’t do things by half and in the last 2 years I have gone from buying a few Ercol pieces for myself, to fully restoring chairs, tables, dressers and all things Ercol. I have had amazing help from my mum and dad who between them used run their own stretch cover and upholstery business. Now I’m taking bespoke orders, including different wood finishes, coloured paint and allowing my customers to choose their own cushion materials before they are professionally made. I love nothing more than spending hours getting my scruffs on and sanding down furniture, painting and seeing how great Ercol furniture can look with a bit of love and care, especially with fab new cushions. So husband be careful what you wish for…
